Virtual Backpack

KUSD鈥檚 Virtual Backpack provides an outlet for the district and community organizations to share events, activities and resources with our families in one easy to access location. Materials and/or activities below may not be sponsored by KUSD or its personnel.

Organizations wanting to add an item to the Virtual Backpack must submit a at least one month prior to their event date. All requests must abide by the procedures outlined in Board Policy 1520.

Items that have expired, or that are more than six months old, will be removed to keep this page current. If items are removed, they may be resubmitted in alignment with the procedures above for review/consideration.

Carthage College Women’s Basketball Camps

  • Youth Day Camp: June 16-19 from 9-11:30 a.m.
    • Girls Entering 2nd through 8th grades
    • The four-day Youth Camp emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, and fun, providing a supportive environment for young athletes to build confidence and develop their skills.
  • Elite Camp: July 25 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    • Girls Entering 9th through 12th grades
    • The Elite Camp is designed for girls entering grades 9 through 12 who are serious about advancing their game. This one-day camp features high-level instruction, competitive drills, and an inside look at the Firebirds’ collegiate training experience.

Community Planting Event at Washington Park (June 7)

Join Root-Pike WIN and the City of 黑料社APP on Saturday, June 7, anytime from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to help us replace 14,000 square feet of turf grass with WI native plants that better support pollinators and improve water quality to Pike Creek and Lake Michigan. Attendees will plant, enjoy FREE food, meet local community groups, take home a FREE plant, and have the chance to submit a survey for a chance to win a FREE gift basket with $300 in goodies!

Education Foundation Golf Outing (August 11)

Did you know 黑料社APP has an Early Head Start program for eligible families who are pregnant or have children under the age of three? Early Head Start provides free (and fun) weekly home visits for parents and children to play, with development and school readiness (even for infants!). Besides home visits, Early Head Start holds events twice a month for families to get out of the house and socialize. We also have playgroups and open play times for families to participate in!
